Hi, my name is Laura van Leliveld (Mrs. V). Having previously been on staff at Leesburg United Methodist Church as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator and a teacher in both the 4-year-old and 2-year-old classrooms, I am excited to return to the Great Beginnings Preschool for my fifth year in the Owls room.

My husband, Jeff, and I have been married for 30 years. My older son, Cole, graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Marketing and he and his wife, Erica, live in Leesburg. My youngest, Brayden, also graduated from Virginia Tech, is a Financial Analyst and engaged to be married in October of 2027. Go Hokies!

I enjoy paper crafting, painting, traveling, and spending time with my large extended family in my free time.
