WELCOME!
As a ministry of Leesburg United Methodist Church, we have provided a warm, caring, and nurturing preschool program for the children of our community for over 50 years. We recognize that children learn best when they are given opportunities to discover, explore and problem-solve through direct experience.

  • Happy Summer! We're excited to host playgroups at GBP again this year! Sessions run from 9:30-11:30am. Each session will be open to 2 groups of 16 children with a minimum of 10 total children. We'll play in the classrooms, Asbury Hall and possibly the playground if the weather is mild. We will also enjoy a snack. Registration is open to the public (rising 3 year-old preschoolers through rising Kindergarteners). Children must be potty trained. Click here to register!

  • Calling all rising Kindergarteners! GBP’s annual Kindergarten Readiness Camp is August 4-8th, 9am-12pm. We’ll practice cutting, writing, rhyming, daily Author Studies and lots of independence! Snack is provided daily. Camp is open to the public! The $155 camp fee will be run through Brightwheel in July.  Click here to register.

  • School is currently out for the summer. Check back in August for 2025-2026 information.

2 Year Old Class

In the classroom and on the playground, students have ample opportunities to explore their physical surroundings. Structured activities like learning centers and circle time help children develop their understanding of color and size, and build their vocabulary. Our staff is experienced in helping two-year-olds navigate the social dynamics of a learning environment, and is well-equipped to guide them through any challenges they may face.

3 Year Old Class

As a student, your child will have numerous chances to delve into learning centers and participate in genuine writing experiences. They will learn about literacy concepts and enhance their mathematical thinking and scientific inquiry skills through the use of hands-on materials and exploration. Additionally, they will start to develop their social-emotional abilities and contribute independently to their classroom community.

4 Year Old Pre-K Class

Our Pre-K program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten by teaching them letter-sound relationships. In addition to this, we introduce children to a range of math concepts such as patterns, counting, and sequencing. Our program utilizes a variety of teaching methods including teacher-led activities, center-based learning, and self-exploration. Additionally, we utilize movement activities to help develop gross motor skills.
